Grab your breakfast and morning coffee and let’s hit the road, we’ve got a lot to fit in!

We will meet at 8am ready to jump into our adventure cars and set off for a prompt 8.30am departure.

Arriving at Wadi Hawir, a location we refer to as ‘Nature’s Playground’ it is the lesser known section of the famous Wadi Bani Khalid. Scrambling over boulders and diving into fresh pools of water your hiking efforts are rewarded with incredible fun in the playground.

Save some energy in the Wadi, your day isn’t over just yet… With enough time to refuel your body we take a short drive before arriving in the golden paradise of the Wahiba Sands desert. Climbing out from the cars and straight onto the traditional mode of transport - Camels! It doesn’t get much more Arabian than travelling a distance through the sands like this.

Dismounting from your camel in the camp for the night it’s time to see how the traditional Omani Bedouins (nomads of the desert) still live to this day.

We will cook our evening meal together and enjoy the evening around a campfire, not forgetting the marshmallows! With traditional music, Arabic coffee served by the fire side and stories of the desert. The friendly Bedouins welcome your curiosity and questions.

Relax in your tent, or under the stars if you prefer, and enjoy the downtime before another action packed day.

We rise with the sun on the second morning. Unzipping our tents and stepping out into a fresh day with the morning rays making their way over the dunes and warming the day.

Bidding a friendly “Masalama!” to our Bedouin hosts we jump back in the adventure cars and leave the desert sands behind. It’s time for us to get ready for an epic adventure under the waterfalls at lesser known Wadi Mibam.

Steep inclines are ahead as we gain elevation from the floor of Wadi heading upwards into the high mountains above, we hope you’ve got a head for heights! Nestled deep in the mountain side is the traditional village of Mibam where many Omani families still live to this day far away from the city lights and luxury living of Modern Arabia..

Here in Wadi Mibam we will hike, climb, swim and play in the flowing waterfall as it cascades down the rockface and into the pool below. With amazing nature and scenery Oman doesn’t get much better than Wadi Mibam.

Exhausted and exhilarated we descend the mountain and back to normality as we head back to Muscat for a well earned rest.
